Around 30-70% children under 15 years of age in Poland suffer from undernourishment - it depends on the region and whether they come from the city or village.

Not even half of families living in poverty can count on social help!

Every third kid in Poland goes to school without breakfast (and counts on some meal there)!

Specialists say that child under 16 years of age should eat 4-5 meals during the day and 1-2 in school... But some of the kids eat only in schools...

On average one dinner in school costs 2,50 - 4,00 polish zloty (it's around 1 US Dolar or 1 EUR or a half of GBP)

Each month one kid eats 20-23 dinners in school!

One dinner (soup and hot meal) in Junior High School Number 13 in Wroclaw costs 3,00 polish zloty (it's around 1 US Dolar or 1 EUR or a half of GBP)

Monthly cost of dinners for one child is 60-70 polish zloty (it is 20 US dolars or Euro's and 12 GBP).

In our Junior High School there is a dozen or so classes and in each there is at least several students, whose parents cannot afford dinners for their kid.

Please remember the numbers above will not show you the face of hungry child who isn't able to learn during classes because of empty stomach! Those numbers also won't show you the smile on the face of kid after having eaten hot dinner!
Taking part in Dinner Charity Action will allow you to feel satisfaction that you have helped to bring that smile on childrens faces!
